Founded in June 2017, The Vault Bookkeeping was created with trust and flexibility at its core. Our name symbolises a secure, reliable place to safeguard your business’s financial health because we believe your business is priceless—and we treat it as if it were our own.
Our Vision
Our founder, Katie, started with a clear vision: to revolutionize bookkeeping. Before the rise of remote work, she saw the need for a virtual approach that could adapt to busy family life—especially with her shift-working husband and two young children. This led to the creation of a fresh, boundary-breaking practice that continues to champion the philosophy, “Helping business owners build a solid foundation for your success and business freedom”.
Katie’s diverse background in banking, lending, insurance, superannuation, and industry training fuels her passion for helping others succeed. Her goal is to make quality financial management accessible, flexible, and empowering.

Managing Director & BAS Agent
Since launching The Vault Bookkeeping in 2018, Katie’s mission has been “To Help You Build Financial Foundations for Success and Business Freedom.”
Specialising in building and construction, Katie emphasises understanding your numbers, improving cash flow, and creating flexible systems. She believes business should offer owners the freedom to enjoy life and work-life balance, leveraging her expertise in software, compliance, and finance to unlock potential.
Katie mentors aspiring bookkeepers, supports BAS Agents in scaling their practices, and explores innovative tech solutions.
Her leadership has earned her awards like LUCA’s Bookkeeper of the Year and Network Leader of the Year for 2024. She’s also one of 14 selected for the XPAC Panel (2025-2027).
Katie is a proud mum, wife, and dog-mum to Theodore and Millie. An avid traveller, she embraces a lifestyle of connection, learning, and working from anywhere—showing her children the world’s wonders.

BAS Agent | Admin Pro
Since joining our team in August 2020, Racheal has brought years of dedicated industry experience and a genuine passion for helping clients succeed.
With a background in accounts management within the building and construction sector, she previously ran her own bookkeeping business supporting local trades such as plumbers, electricians, and civil works companies.
Her extensive experience means she truly understands how to help tradies get it right from the start!
When she’s not crunching numbers, Racheal loves spending quality time with her family, including her two lively grandsons and her adorable granddog, Trax the dachshund.
An avid lover of outdoor adventures, she has recently embraced caravan life, making the most of weekends away

Bookkeeper
Katrina joined our team in September 2023 and brings with her extensive experience in trade industry bookkeeping.
Passionate about streamlining processes for maximum efficiency, she believes that achieving a work-life balance is essential.
Currently working towards her BAS agent registration, Katrina is a valuable addition to our team, combining her professional expertise with a vibrant energy and a family-centric outlook.
When she’s not optimising workflows, Katrina loves to go on little adventures in her caravan, exploring new places and soaking up fresh experiences. Katrina treasures time with her family and grandchildren. She has a passion for exploring new cuisines and wines, making every moment and journey memorable.

Bookkeeper | Budget Pro
Donna has been with us since 2020 and comes with the knowledge of 30 years of banking and lending.
Donna’s role at The Vault is working with our Micro clients and allowing them to focus on what they do best.
You can find Donna in her spare time enjoying a walk, being with family or travelling in their motorhome.

Bookkeeper
Josie joined The Vault Bookkeeping in June 2023 and is now a Qualified Bookkeeper.
She has a passion for keeping things organised and thrives on having clear plans and goals.
Although still early in her bookkeeping career, Josie’s enthusiasm for the construction industry and dedication to supporting our trade clients shine through as she helps streamline their businesses for success.
Outside of work, Josie loves spending quality time with her 3-year-old daughter and caring for her adorable dachshund, Duke.
With a background in early childhood education and management, she brings a keen eye for detail, consistency, and a love of schedules to everything she does.
Josie is a valuable part of our team, and we’re excited to see her continue growing in her career.

Executive Assistant & Client Services Manager
Olivia is Executive Assistant to director, Katie Williams and is our friendly Client Services Manager. She also manages our in-house Virtual Assistant offering, bringing a perfect blend of professionalism and warmth to our team.
With a Diploma in Business Management and over 10 years of experience in business leadership and client services, she seamlessly manages tasks like email and inbox organisation, calendar management, invoicing follow-up, and general business coordination.
Olivia also offers social media support and executive assistance, providing a flexible extension to your existing services without the need for extra hiring or training.
As a local mother of two, she adds a heartfelt touch to everything she does—her family including a charming cat named Dash, always brings a little humor and personality to her day.
In her free time, Olivia has a passion for training and good nutrition, and spending quality weekends with her family.
